At our company, we developed the exhaust system for the Lotus Emira 3.5L starting from the exhaust manifold and have already sold over 50 sets. It has been well received by customers both domestically and internationally.In this article, we will introduce the exhaust system for the 2.0T engine manufactured by AMG.

First, let’s take a look at the downpipe (catalyst section) near the turbine.

As you can see, the genuine downpipe has a large catalytic converter representing the exhaust gas regulations of the EURO region.Our company offers straight pipes as well as sport catalysts ranging from 100 to 300 cells.

Reducing exhaust interference at the catalyst section leads to increases in sound volume and horsepower.The 2.0T catalyst section usually has an OPF sensor installed, which will react after replacement. Therefore, we have made special modifications to the sensor part to prevent sensor reaction.If the sensor still reacts, we offer a separately sold OBD2 adapter. If that doesn’t solve the issue, please consider ECU rewriting, etc.

The rear muffler section is very well made even in the genuine parts, and the front tube basically maintains the same shape as the genuine one. Therefore, for customers considering it now, we recommend the titanium version.Its weight is about 60% of the stainless steel version, so it also offers weight reduction benefits.

Our rear muffler uses a variable valve system that allows you to switch the sound volume depending on usage. When using this remote control valve system, an error related to the motor flap will be displayed if installed as is, so we provide a separate canceller. Naturally, if you retain the genuine valve function, no error will occur.

To make the valve ON/OFF difference more distinct, we use a larger muffler chamber. The silent mode is designed to produce sound levels comparable to the genuine silent mode, making it a gentleman’s specification that allows for safe driving even at night or in residential areas.

When the valve is open, the exhaust does not pass through the muffler chamber, resulting in a racey sound. Please note that the genuine exhaust already produces a sufficiently racey sound, so the change is not dramatic.
