The exhaust system for the Dodge Charger R/T SRT Scat Pack 5.7L/6.2L/6.4L consists of:
Exhaust manifold
Downpipe
Center exhaust system
Rear exhaust system
Although the layout of the exhaust system is very similar to that of the Challenger, it is not generally interchangeable. Therefore, our company manufactures separate models for the Charger and Challenger.
Regarding the exhaust manifold, it is still under development, but if there are any customers interested, we are able to accommodate their needs!
Let’s first take a look at the front-downpipe section.
The stock downpipe is equipped with a very large catalytic converter, which naturally limits the sound volume and results in a muffled, deep bass-like sound.
Our downpipe is designed to produce higher-pitched sounds and optimize exhaust efficiency. We also offer an optional 200-cell sports catalytic converter for a fee.
Next, let’s introduce the rear exhaust system.
We will now introduce both the center exhaust system and the rear exhaust system, which form the cat-back section, simultaneously.
The stock center exhaust system and rear exhaust system are equipped with very large silencers, which reduce exhaust efficiency and cannot avoid a muffled, low-frequency sound.
Our center pipe is available in two designs, depending on the desired sound tuning:
Focused on American car sound
Focused on higher-pitched sound
Lastly, our rear exhaust system is not only lightweight but also carefully designed with a balance between piping design, punching, and glass wool to optimize performance.
To enhance the variation between the valve’s ON/OFF, we have adopted larger resonators. In silent mode, the sound volume is designed to be at the same level as the stock silent mode, making it ideal for peaceful driving in residential areas at night.
When the valve is open, it maximizes the engine’s potential and delivers a racing sound, making this an exciting sound tuning component for your everyday driving experience.
